This forest encampment made an excellent representation of a Litorian camp hidden within The Mane of Ptolus. The circular arrangement of hide tents reflected Litorian communal values, strength through unity, and their reverence for the natural world. Nestled beneath heavy tree cover, the camp felt deliberately concealed, a place where hunters rested, warriors trained, and elders gathered around the central fire to share stories and make decisions that affected the pride as a whole.

Within The Mane, this site worked well as a semi permanent camp used during extended hunts, territorial patrols, or times of unrest in the city. The worn earth, scattered tools, and signs of recent activity suggested a group that stayed alert and ready, perfectly matching the Litorians’ vigilant nature and their cautious relationship with outsiders.

Outside the city, this same map easily served as a traveling camp for a nomadic group, mercenary band, or displaced tribe moving through the wilderness. It provided a strong setting for negotiations, uneasy alliances, or sudden conflict. The surrounding forest offered natural cover for scouts and ambushers, while the open central clearing created a natural focal point for tense conversations or explosive encounters.

Whether approached in peace or violence, this encampment felt alive and reactive, rewarding groups that paid attention to positioning, culture, and intent.
